Organist

I grew up in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, a little town just outside of Nashville. My earliest memories were of listening to records and being fascinated by music. That fascination led my parents to purchase an old piano and I set out to teach myself how to play it. By the time I was in junior high school I was playing church services and have been doing so ever since.

After receiving church music degrees from Cumberland University in Lebanon, TN, and Virginia Intermont College in Bristol, VA, I moved to east Tennessee in 1984 to serve as the tonal director for a firm that builds pipe organs. I have served as organist with First United Methodist since 1994.
